Also, as a Gator fan, I expect the worst so I do not get my hopes up too much. And yet, if the above score comes true ( or we somehow actually lose), my deep inner-expectations will lead me to text all my friends how angry I am that we didn’t exceed my public expectations. The football team who would never join a conference, joined a conference for 1 year to protect their season….and then said the conference protected them BY CANCELING A GAME FOR THEM THE WEEK BEFORE THE REMATCH WITH CLEMSON!! If Auburn somehow beats A & M this week, I am calling on the SEC to one-up the ACC and cancel not only Florida and Bama’s final regular season games, but also the SEC championship in hopes both teams get voted into the Playoff!!! Aggies played in a tropical-style downpour and beat a wounded LSU Tigahs squad after 3 weeks off…..rain is not good for rust either. Auburn & the Gus Bus were dismantled by Bama……ZT notes most teams do not do well after a Bama beating. HC Jimbo Fisher & the Aggies need some help to make the CFP but got to take care of business or it won’t matter. Beating Auburn is part 1. FUN STUFF!!!! 2200 miles vs. a Top 20 team on 3 days +/- notice for a battle of undefeated 9-win teams ( important as ZT will not acknowledge a team as “undefeated” in December if they have played less than 5 games )…..This can only happen in 2020, right? May not be a Power 5 game BUT ZT LIKES IT!!! Cougars QB Zach Wilson is solid, running game good, and defense has been strong. Sure, not the greatest schedule ever but they don’t let the first cough or sneeze call for a cancellation!! No wonder these guys can each peddle a bike 9,200 miles each summer! The Chants….they just win. QB Grayson McCall has 20 TDs vs. just 1 INT. Ran in 5 TDs as well. RB C J “Mama liked to play with Dad’s” Marable is a good one. Tigers back on track with 52-17 win over Pitt. One issue, running game just not where they want it and this is odd with RB Etienne. They haven’t busted 150 yds. rushing in last 4 games. Hokies are ok against the run but have some of the best stats in pass defense. For Va. Tech, its Run or go home. 4-0 when they run for over 260. 0-5 when under 260. For the Tide, ” Revenge is a meal best served in Baton Rouge” No let down post Iron Bowl ( ZT will discuss that next week with a road game in Fayetteville, AR ) as this team wants some TIGAH MEAT!!!!
