Here we go as thought…..Michigan vs……… WAIT, ARE YOU KIDDING ME?????

ZT watched the Pat McAfee broadcast of both playoff games….. had to take some ZzzQuil to calm down enough to go jog (who are trying to kid ZT, you jog?)..ok, to drive to Baskin Robbins 31 flavors but it is the new year so thinking about getting in shape like 73.4% of America. Honestly, could have listened to the Economics Professor in Ferris Bueller’s Day off read from the Bird Almanac vs. any announcers because the excitement of the games themselves would have required the ZzzQuil potion on their own! Unless you are a corn-fed dude from Iowa and just love defense, these were the best CFP games in recent memory (recall- yes pun intended – ZT takes a trifecta of 50% off brain supplements so he knows!).

Only New Year’s Weekend issue was actually feeling obligated to watch the January 2 games. Good new is they didn’t disappoint with MSU winning one more for Pirate Mike and the Green Wave staging a phenomenal comeback to swamp USC. Now it’s down to Frawgs vs. Dawgs for the Natty.

ZT ready to prognosticate after taking out an entire crockpot of his wife’s chili, including Bush’s Dark Kidney Beans (ZT looking for a NIL type deal and notes its ok if they want to use that dog from the old commercials in it as long as ZT sees the Benjamins!). Thanks to an iPhone and ESPN app, never missed a play!

#3 TCU Horned Frogs vs. #1 Georgia Bulldogs

In addition to having TX rodeo clowns and Georgia rednecks in LA, this game should be very entertaining. Really California? NO TAILGATING?? Geez. Vegas opened with Georgia as a 2 TD favorite. TCU wouldn’t have it any other way or do they care about being an underdog. Fun to note TCU has been the underdog 3 times this season and are 3-0 as outright winners in those games.

First, what about these horny, hypno frogs from Ft. Worth. These guys are that team everyone has seen at some level in some sport. They believe in themselves and don’t listen to or don’t care about what others think (kinda like how much ZT cares when a MyPillow commerical comes on!). The only people who don’t love QB Max Duggan are the teams that play him for 60 minutes. The Frog 3-3-5 defense was able to somewhat control the Michigan running game when most of the world thought the Wolverines would just line up and run over TCU. Result was Michigan only averaging just over 3 yards per carry after the opening 58 yard scamper. Odd to talk Defense when they gave up 45 points but defense did what they needed when it mattered.

The New Dynasty Dawgs…..only weakness ZT sees is UGA 10 is not very active. Wish he would have bitten McAfee and gang when they opened his cage but he did his best Jabba the Hut impersonation. Even though HC Kirby Smart fussed a little bit, Dawgs QB Stetson “Pops” Bennett IV is the guy they need to trust and this offense is better than Michigan so “let the big DAWGS’ eat.”

SO……ZT LOVES TCU and everything about them in 2022 (ok, Tulane as well but they still have not left Bourbon Street since returning from the Rose Bowl ) but just can’t see them hangin’ with the firepower for the Georgia “death star” for the full 60 minutes this week. In the words of Dan Fouts in The Waterboy, ” Last game of the year Brent, can’t hold anything back now”, ZT says Dawgs hold nothing back and get another Natty. Dawgs 41 Frawgs 31

ZT is OUT and looks forward to prognosticating again in the Fall…Until then, eat well my friends!!!!

Padre has been hiding in an unknown cavern ( possibly in sackcloth and ashes but that is unconfirmed ) as he endures a FSU bowl victory and 10 win season, a Georgia run for back to back Championships, and Bama with a Top recruiting class. Word is military listening posts have picked up faint sounds of “Spurrier Come Back” and are sending out reconnaissance…. If they find him, hopefully he will prognosticate.
