At one time, a bowl game was really a reward for a job well done. In 1970, there were 11 bowl games ( ok, ZT….is this a memory lane deal you got going here?? ) and in 1990 we were up to 19. Not bad noting the AP was still only working the Top 20 at the time vs. Top 25. By the turn of the century, up to 25 games and how many in 2021???? 44 BOWL GAMES are on the slate!!

So…what’s a prognosticator to do? In this case, the plan is to get you though the first 30+ games, get you through the Christmas Holidays and then take some extra brain supplements for the CFP and New Year’s Day Bowl games. Don’t ever say you don’t get your money’s worth from the Pigskin Prognostications…..( ZT, assume you have forgotten it is a free blog?!?!?)
